Does my F Series have Apple CarPlay from the factory?

Most F Series NBTevo units (mid-2015+) are hardware-ready for CarPlay but the feature is locked behind a software FSC code. We activate it with a VIN-specific code Bavarian Luxury Platforms generates for your car.

Can I get wireless CarPlay on my F Series?

Yes — if your NBTevo unit has the Wi-Fi antenna plug (most 2017+ F Series do), we enable wireless CarPlay in addition to the wired activation.

Will CarPlay use the full screen?

Yes. The default F Series CarPlay layout is split-screen; we reconfigure it to full-screen during the remote session.

Is CarPlay activation reversible?

Yes. The FSC code can be removed and the head unit restored to its original state at any time.

How long does CarPlay code delivery take?

FSC code delivery is usually 1—3 hours after we receive your VIN. The full wireless activation with a remote session takes about 60 minutes.

Do I need to bring the car to a shop?

No. Everything is done remotely. You can order the FSC code from anywhere, and the guided remote session runs from your driveway.
